Impotence of mortals

“Jangan berharap pada manusia, sebab ia tidak lebih dari pada hembusan nafas, dan sebagai apakah ia dapat dianggap?”
– Yesaya 2.22

Men may sell food, but fullness is from the Lord. Water may be poured, but it is the Lord who quenchs the thirst. City can be guarded, but safety comes from the Lord. Hand of man can make provision, but happiness is the Lord’s gift. Ear may hear, but comfort comes from the Lord.

May our hope is not found in any fleeting flesh, but in the Lord, our solid Rock.
